Guided Game Viewing - min 4 passengers
Guests can choose to go on a morning drive or a full day excursion to Etosha National Park.
Morning drives to Etosha National Park commence at approximately 06H30, depending on gate opening times which vary during seasonal changes. These trips last for approximately 6 hours and follow a route through the Andersson Gate to Okaukuejo and further on to various waterholes in a circular route back to Okaukuejo. There is also a stop-over at "Olifant's Bad" where guests are treated to light refreshments prepared by our gourmet kitchen and have the opportunity to 'stretch their legs' before continuing back to Okaukuejo where (weather permitting) they can spend a while watching the animals at the water hole.
Sundowner Trips - min 4 passengers per trip
Weather permitting, sundowner trips take guests to a nearby hill to enjoy a "sundowner in the bush" while relaxing and watching the incredible sunsets of the area.
The trip departs approximately 18h30, depending on the weather and seasonal sunset changes and returns to the Village after sunset at approximately 19h30.

We stayed for two nights at the campsite. The campsite provided everything we needed: the campsites are big and each one has it's own bathroom (toilet and shower), grill, plug socket and additional taps. The Game Drive we booked was perfect and the other services (swimming pool, dinner, etc.) were good, too.

Wow! And again wow: to the very earthy feel, to the aircon tents, the staff's friendliness, their helpfullness, the food and the wonderfull hosts you have in Fanie and Helena van Rooyen.....not to forget the coffee machine. A lodge to be experienced!
